Check-in Desk

We are excited to introduce you to the Check-in Desk, a time-tracking feature, which allows admins to access team members’ shifts and tracked time, streamlining the time-tracking process for remote work. In this guide, you will find everything you need to know to effectively gain insights into every team member’s attendance.

You can access the Check-in Desk by clicking on the “Check-in Desk” button, on your office floor’s bottom menu bar, when you’re using your floor.
Not currently in any floor? Click the “Check-in Desk” option on your left sidebar.

Accessing the Check-in Desk #

To access the Check-in Desk feature, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Roomth Admin account.

2. Once logged in, look for the “Check-in Desk” option on your Dashboard sidebar menu.

3. When on a floor, you can also click the “Check-in Desk” button on the bottom menu.

Viewing and Managing Shifts #

Edit & Schedule:

  1. Once you have accessed the Check-in desk, you will see a list of Team members to your left.
  2. Find the Select Team member and click “Edit Shift” to open their monthly calendar view.
  3. Here you will see a comprehensive overview of the team member’s tracked time, including date, start time, end time, and total hours worked.
  4. You can add shifts by directly clicking on a time block in the calendar
  5. If required, you can make adjustments to the tracked time to account for any missed punches or incorrect entries.

Do you have an assigned Shift manager or do you need Team members to be able to edit their own shifts and tracked time?
You can tailor each Team member’s permissions for the Check-in Desk by clicking on the “edit permissions” button, from the Check-in desk dashboard.

Exporting your Team’s report #

From the Check-in Desk’s dashboard, scroll down click the “Download Report” button, and select your report’s duration to export a PDF file. This ready-to-use file can seamlessly feed into your accounting software, ensuring error-free salary computations.
