Choosing the Right Account #
Roomth offers four account types. Pick the one that matches how you’ll use your virtual office.
Team Leader #
Team Leaders are the administrators of a Roomth Team and have full control over it.
You can… | Examples |
---|---|
Create & manage your Team | Set up your business’s virtual HQ |
Create & manage floors | Add new floors, set privacy, adjust floor-level settings |
Invite or remove users | Add Guests or Team Members and fine-tune their permissions |
Configure advanced features | Time tracking, access rules, integrations |
Choose Team Leader if you need to set up or manage anything for your organisation.
Team Member #
Team Members have the full Roomth feature set, but they must be invited by a Team Leader.
- Access all floors in the Team—including private ones.
- Can be promoted to administrator if the Team Leader grants it.
How to join a Team
- Ask the Team Leader for an invitation link.
- Open the link and either:
- create a new Roomth account, or
- sign in and upgrade your existing account.

Guest #
Every new user starts as a Guest.
Guests can | Guests cannot |
---|---|
Join specific floors—public or private—across multiple Teams | Create their own Team or floors |
Use core tools such as chat, calls, and screen-sharing | Use time-tracking or admin settings |
Enter the Open Floor (if enabled by the Team Leader) | — |
If a Guest is later invited to a Team as a Member, their account automatically upgrades and the option to create a Team disappears.

Perfect for clients, interviewees, or anyone who needs to pop in once—no account required.
- Receive an email or URL that includes:
- the Guest Lounge link
- date & time
- entry password (if set)
- Click the link, enter a display name, and join the Lounge.
- One-Time Guests can interact only inside that Lounge; the rest of the floor remains hidden.
Setting Up Your Roomth Account #
- Register—you’ll start as a Guest.
- Choose the role you actually need.
- Upgrade (or wait for an invitation) as described above.
You can check your current role anytime under Profile.
